Pets really do become a part of the family, and they worm their way into your heart, no matter how grumpy or greedy they are. Kiara has been a part of my life for many years now, and saying goodbye has been harder than I thought it would be.
As it has often been the way with me, art is my therapy, and in this case, it was a way of sharing the end of an era with her.
Goodbye Kiki, it’s been an adventure.
